Our Story
How it began
As the founder, I have always been drawn to hospitality — the art of making people feel welcome, seen, and valued. Throughout my professional career, I developed a deep appreciation for creating experiences, serving others, managing operations, and bringing people together.
But The Living Water grew from something deeper than a business idea. It grew from faith. As I began drawing closer to Christ and becoming more intentional about the purpose God has placed on my life, I started seeing hospitality differently. A cup of coffee could become a moment of connection. A refreshing lemonade could become an invitation to slow down. A mobile bar could become a gathering place.
And that's where The Living Water began.
Meet The Owner
Hi, I'm Mianka — Mia for short.
I'm the founder and owner of The Living Water Mobile Refreshment Bar. My professional background is rooted in operations, hospitality, leadership, and service. I have more than a decade of experience working in professional and operational environments, including federal contracting, where I developed skills in organization, process improvement, problem-solving, leadership, and managing complex moving parts.
But I never thought about building a mobile beverage business.
I simply loved creating experiences for people — and I have always believed that the little details matter. Whether I'm preparing, brewing, planning an event, coordinating logistics, or creating an experience for a client, my goal is the same: serve well, lead well, and create with intention.
The Living Water gives me the opportunity to bring those things together in a way that feels personal, purposeful, and aligned with my faith.
